Back - Big Bear Private Home Issues Home

The top chart shows the difference in TOT receipts by year. Commercial lodging paid nearly $200k more than private home rentals until 2005. the 2006 estimate of private homes paying $100k more than lodging is based on increasing revenue in private home sector each 4th and 1st quarter. Reported private home rental income has grown dramatically since the early 1980's and especially during 2005 and 2006. Just look at the chart below to see how (the formerly less than a third of all TOT) PHRs have grown to overshadow commercial lodging, (which would be fine if they followed the same rules as we do!). I project a 4th qtr of $367k and 1st qtr 2007 of over $475k, both higher than any quarter ever reported in ALL commercial lodging. Lynn Wheeler says this is not a business in your neighborhoods?
